i like random stuff.
i will post that random stuff.
saw this and loved it immediately.

Here’s a short story for you:
I’ve listened to Dashboard Confessional since…geez it was summer of 2001 or 2002
Anyway, I’ve been a constant [is that even the right word??] fan of theirs…well one time there was some article [which I’ve yet to ever find again] of an interview with Chris Carrabba; if I’m correct, they had just released Dusk & Summer [hence, the reason for the interview]
Anyway, the interviewer asked him “what are you currently listening to?” or something along those lines and he said that he had been listening to Manchester Orchestra and couldn’t get enough of them…[this was in reference to I’m Like A Virgin…] so silly me assumed it was an actual orchestra so I googled them and these pictures come up [Manchester’s album cover] I thought it was so weird.
Well I figured out that Manchester Orchestra wasn’t an actual orchestra so I thought I’d give them a listen…thought it was kinda cool not my style at the time. Eventually I grew to absolutely love their music…and eventually this got me listening to Kevin Devine, who is and has been at the top of my music list for about 2 or 3 years…
so that’s how Dashboard Confessional brought me to Kevin Devine.
other randoms:
*Carrabba also had another interview that was done in NY at the end of a KD show…that was mentioned in the article
*KD opened for DC at one point.
It’s a small world…
that story was long but that’s how my music core was built…

I loved this show and still do actually. It’s the ONLY dvd that I watch. I never watch movies twice but I could watch this all day long   (and I do)

funwithrobots:

As I’ve been cleaning out my office this past week I discovered that I have a lot of prints that I’ve done, just lying around that should be hung up and appreciated. I started up an Etsy.com store to sell these bad boys. Some prints I have a few of, others are one-offs. I might be adding some framed Polaroids and the Silversun Pickups/Manchester Orchestra tour posters later next week.  Check ‘em out and tell your friends!

Just one reason why I don’t go to starbucks

agreed.
those sizes don’t even match to what they’re translated to…
small does not equal tall
grande does not equal medium
but I do like Starbuck’s on occasion…have you tried the Carmel Brulee Frappuccino? yummy.

These guys were on PBS last night and I must say, I could not turn it off! I like A Capella music but sometimes the things they sing aren’t fun or exciting; but I did watch this last night and watched it again when they repeated it later on that night. Good stuff…

oh, their name is….Straight No Chaser

kind of a strange name, but whatever.

this photobooth picture is from when my parents were engaged.  and now today was their 29th anniversary!  sadly it was also their first that they did not get to spend with each other.  dad is in wisconsin on business.  i am sure dad will make up for it somehow.  on second thought, i don’t want to think about any of that.  happy anniversary mom and dad!

from the pictures i’ve seen of you…you look a lot like your dad.

random info...

*it snowed in Houston yesterday…not just a little, I mean it really snowed. It was pretty but f r e e e e e z i n g .  I don’t like the cold to be honest; I’d rather be in 100 degree weather, for real.

*my 2 (enormous) German Shepherds jumped in bed with me last night—-they never do that…fun slumber party

*1 more day of school left….all my finals are back-to-back on the Tuesday…fun.

*He’s gone and I probably won’t see him again since I’m transferring…Can’t do anything about that now…

*I supposed to transfer to UH in January, but I have yet to register for classes, go to orientation, see advisor, etc etc etc…really need to do that.

*Did you hear the Nets are 0-18…0-18 seriously.

*I need a new car…I need a car period. I’ve been driving my mom’s old Camry for the longest time—-I don’t like cars, they’re scary, I need a small suv thing.

*need to call Loo back

*Going to get some dinner soon—-don’t know what though.

*I really really really really reallyreally really really really really really want to quit my job. Seriously, the woman I work with makes me so angry—yesterday, my mom told me to leave work early (about 1pm) because of the weather (and it takes me about an hour to get home…) so I told them I was leaving and she was incredibly rude to me and would not stop rambling about how I don’t work enough, always leave early, etc. It really pissed me off. I’ll stop writing about that because it’s making me angry all over again.

that was all….nothing else.

i love this boy...
